Thanks for the great preparation, participation and commitment of all students, teachers and assistants. The English day proved to be a space for sharing and learning.
The winners were all the students from Basic I, Basic II, Basic III, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Advanced I, advanced II, and Literature class in the morning, afternoon and evening shift.

ReplyDeleteThe english day was an interesting activity, it let us get to know a bit more some of the english speaking countries, their customs, their religions and some of their meals. It was an oportunity to get to know more people of some of the advanced semesters, and to share with them information about different cultures.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, The English day it's a big oportunity for us to know about other culture and country, some presentations were very well done, but some others didn't have the time to prepare what they must shown. In general, this day it's a good way to learn and to practice our enlgish, our pronunciation and to put an order to our ideas. We should take advantage of this activities and learn from them.

ReplyDeleteThe English day was a good space for sharing and learning with all the students of languages in all the semesters. We can saw their creativity and how much they have learned in this time. We learned in the expositions a lot of new things about other countries where people speak English, about their location, culture, history, important places,sports.etc.
ReplyDeleteThe cooking competition was a good moment becouse we knew about the food in those countries , but the best part was when we ate all the things that had been prepared for the students, those things were very delicious, they are good chefs.
Well ..i think the English day was good .. 'cause we can learn something about other places ..like a food, like a customs, like a the real life in this countries was good USA ..decoration i like it... some troubles in the pronunciation but was good ..yep.. some semesters had more time for prepare this and was good ..others like mine didn't had much time but was good too! haha ... i need to learn and know about more and more about countries :) ..well...i hope so!!

I learned about England like their main buildings, it traditional food and part of the Great Britain history. But I feel so sad `cos I couldn`t see the other countries like Scottland, Irland or Canada, that happen for was a just like an England`s soilder and be standing up all the day. In general all the English day was fun, or at less i enjoyed that cultural day and the many costumes of the diferent countries
ReplyDeleteWe had the oportunity to know some delicious meals from the countries in the presentation. We can see that some of the countries, some of the groups, had more time to work on it than others. In general it was very good and the people was interested in participate if not talking, at least seeing.

Well... the day was great, but i think we needed more time for peparate that... i cant't saw the morning expocitions but at the afternoon and was amazing... i think the best country was Australia and maybe Canada for the pancakes hahaahahahahha,,,,, well those activities are so important for us because we can learn about many things of anothers countries... ammm.. the food was delicious =P

In The english day I had the opportunity of saw the pesentation of U.S.A that was very beatyfull decoration, the estudent spoke about the religion, typical food, culture from there. After I had the oprtunity that saw the presentation in Jamaica there the student spoke about the religion and the culture rasta, her customs and about presidents in the past we also talk about the music and the meaning of "ganjah"

the activity was very interesting,because I learned about the others countries, we worked in groups too, and all the people were very happy for participate in the differents activities. but I thing that the expositions need more time.

The English Day was a wonderfull experience!.Every student worked in the decoration, in the music dance,in the food and in the oral presentation of Unites States our country.Congratulations for all students that participated in The Countries Festival!!!XD
